**IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE**

A reminder to all of our riders that the hat standards are changing - from 1st January 2016 all hats worn at our centre will need to meet the standard of PAS015. This is due to the withdrawal of BSEN1384. Please note, hats which are dual tested will continue to be acceptable so for example, a hat which carries PAS015 and BSEN1384 will be allowed, but a hat bearing BSEN1384 only will not.

We would also like to remind riders that anyone jumping under instruction will be required to wear a body protector up to BETA Level 3 from 1st January 2016. Body protectors continue to be mandatory for cross country (and no hats with fixed peaks allowed on the XC course) and strongly recommended for all other riding activities. If anyone has any queries, please see Jane or Jen

Imogen's Equifest haul!

At Equifest 2015; one of the biggest shows in the equestrian calendar, she picked up rosettes in every class she competed in with Assistant Manager Jen! She then went on to win the 15+ Horse and Pony Events Open Ridden Veteran Championship class, against horses from all over the country! The feedback she got from the judges all week was fantastic, she truly is a credit to us! Imogen has been at Penshaw Equestrian Centre in the riding school since she was 4 years old. She is now 21 and has in recent years has embarked on a successful showing career! Keep checking back for news on how she's doing!
